Fehl Safe Water Systems, your Bradenton-based, family-owned water treatment company serving Southwest Florida since 1994, is now Fehl Safe Plumbing, Septic & Water Systems, reflecting more than three decades of growth and a significant expansion of its service capabilities and territory.
The name change follows the company’s April 2026 acquisition of Quality Plumbing, which extended Fehl Safe’s residential plumbing services across a substantially larger footprint — from Charlotte County in the south to South Hillsborough in the north.
“What started as a water treatment company has grown into something much bigger,” Fehl Safe owner Jordan Richards said. “Our new name reflects the full scope of what our team does today, not just where we started.”
From Water Treatment to Full-Service Contractor
Founded in 1994, Fehl Safe built its early reputation on residential water treatment and water softening for homeowners throughout the Bradenton area. Over the following decades, the company steadily expanded into plumbing repair, well drilling and pump services, and septic system servicing.
With the addition of Quality Plumbing and continued investment in specialized capabilities, Fehl Safe now operates as a full-service plumbing, water, wastewater, and environmental contractor, serving residential, commercial, municipal, and industrial clients throughout the region.
The company’s expanded capabilities include:
- Plumbing and septic services
- Well and water treatment systems
- Hydrovac excavation
- Vacuum and jetting services
- New home construction
- Bathroom remodels
- Wastewater and sludge removal
- Filter media removal and replacement
- Treatment plant cleaning and maintenance
- Underground utility work
- Specialized water and wastewater infrastructure projects
A Broader Reach, the Same Local Standards
Despite the expanded scope, Fehl Safe’s foundation remains unchanged: a family-owned, locally operated business built on more than 30 years of hands-on experience.
The company continues to offer free water testing with recommendations based on results rather than assumptions, and maintains its commitment to serving residential customers throughout its home market of Bradenton and the greater Southwest Florida region which now spans from South Shore to North Port — now alongside a growing base of commercial, municipal, and industrial clients drawn to its expanded infrastructure and environmental capabilities.
